The bottle carrier comprises a plate (6) made from a first plastic which has apertures (9), through which the necks of the bottles pass. They are supported by flexible edgings (10) on the apertures which are made from a second plastic, against which collars on the bottle necks rest. An independent claim is included for a method for transporting bottles using the carrier.
