Wind resistant dishware (10) which has a food receiving compartment (12) from which angularly extends outwardly a peripheral edge (14). Formed within the peripheral edge is at least one hole (20, 22) and preferably two or more with this peripheral edge designed to be placed on a supporting surface (18). A thin sheet material strip (24) covers each hole. The undersurface of the thin sheet material srip includes a tacky adhesive (26). The thin sheet material strip is to be manually deflected through the hole and contact the supporting surface to form a temporary securement with the supporting surface which will temporarily fix into position the dishware to resist movement of the dishware due to wind. |
