The assembly for the production of printing inks has a number of containers (11-15) for the liquid components and containers (21-26) for the loose solid materials, and a mixer (50) to combine them. The materials are carried to the mixer by transport vessels (30,40). A grinder (60) is after the mixer, to grind and disperse the solid particles within the liquids, and deliver the prepared inks to catch vessels (70,30).
