The invention relates to a dust collecting container (11) for a hand-held machine tool comprising a dust suction device, said container consisting of a wall enclosing a dust storage volume and provided with a dust inlet (19) for connecting to a dust blow-out nozzle of the machine tool. The aim of the invention is to ensure a timely emptying of the full dust collecting container (11) during the operation of the machine-tool. To this end, a display window (21) is arranged in the container wall, through which the dust level can be seen.
