The invention relates to an automatic retractor (20), for drawer opening guides, with a guide track for fixing to the frame wall of a piece of furniture and a running track, optionally with an interposed intermediate track, for fixing to a drawer, whereby a moving latch element (24), is pre-tensioned in a bi-stable manner in two end positions at a separation from each other in the direction of movement of the drawer by means of a spring arrangement with a long coil spring (40), which has a housing (36) for a dog, provided on the other track, which enters the housing (36) on the relative displacement of the tracks as the closed position is approached and the pre-tensioned moving latch element (24) is pivoted and thus released from a corresponding end position. The latch element is moved into the other end position by means of the spring tension and the track provided therewith is also taken in the drawer retraction direction. The housing (44) of a damping device (42) is arranged in the latch housing (22), within which a damping element is arranged such as to move, which is coupled to the latch element (24), by means of connector elements. The housing (44) of the damping device (42) is arranged within the latch housing (22) such as to be displaced by a given amount in the direction of the drawer movement and is pre-tensioned by spring in the displacement direction for the latch locking position. |
