The insertion process is suitable for sterile environments inside a flexible or rigid steel sterile shell. The sensor (4) is fitted in one part (1) of an insertion joint used in producing sterile fluid flow paths. The other part (5) of the insertion joint is built into the wall (2) bounding the sterile environment when the joint is connected, the sensor comes into contact with the sterile interior, without carrying anything in.
