The rewinder has a spring with retracting function arranged within a housing. The spring within the housing is taken off and the center of an earphone cable is attached and hung from the spring. The spring is activated, so that the earphone cable retracts into the housing. A side of the earphone cable is taken out by pulling out a desired length of the earphone cable from the housing.
