CONSUMABLE ELECTRODE ARC WELDING METHOD

A consumable electrode arc welding method capable of avoiding the contact of a welding pool with all wires by a means operating the entire part of a torch in a direction receding from the welding pool when crater welding is performed at the end part of welding. In the method, also a welding to the wires is checked for not only the welding wire performing the crater welding but also for all the other wires. If the deposited wire is present, a welding current is passed through the wire again to release the deposit.
