An electric dry-shaving apparatus is associated with a plate of solar cells for energizing the motor directly, or via an electric storage battery, the plate being adapted to fit within the lid of the box housing the apparatus. In the embodiment, the plate comprises twelve silicon cells and may be folded before insertion in the lid or it may constitute an inner surface of the lid; an additional plate may be provided in the bottom of the box. A meter is included to indicate the charge state of the battery. |
