The sliding vehicle consists of at least one ground sliding skid. The sliding surface of the skid consists of a sliding film forming material. The friction occurring during sliding over the ground melts the material due to the surface pressure acting on it. This produces a sliding film which provides a sliding capability between the ground and the skid.
