The coil hose consists of at least one material strip (1) wound into a hose and with at least one reinforcing (2). The material strip has an outer curvature (6), at least in parts, between adjacent reinforcing sections (5). The outer curvature of the material strip extends around the circumference of the coil hose. The outer curvature is constructed with the proviso that during the bending of the hose the outer curvature in the region of the smaller bend radius protrudes outwards as a crease.
