<p>At a process for producing a steel cord at least two wire filaments serving as core filaments (10), are uncoiled from reels (11), uncoiled core filaments (10) are by a false twister (40) combined into a strand (50) and they are initially intertwining around each other to spirally preshape them, and spirally preshaped individual core filaments (10) located downstream of the false twister (40) juxtaposed in parallel in the form of a core (60) are sheathed with at least one wire filament, uncoiled from a reel (21), serving as a wrapping wire (20). The steel cord features at least two wire filaments, as filaments (10), cores forming the core (60), which are oriented bunched juxtaposed in parallel and feature elastic residual torsional stresses which are cancelled in conjunction with the restoring forces of at least one sheathing wire (20) surrounding the core filaments (10).</p> |
