摘要 <p>A robot hand member manufactured of a carbon-fiber reinforced composite material for a robot hand mounted at the tip of the arm of an industrial robot having remarkably increased vibration damping characteristics. Highly elastic carbon having a tensile elastic modulus of 490 to 950 GPa is used by 30 vol.% or more in the composite material. The carbon fiber is formed (1) in a hollow structure in which (1) the outer periphery thereof in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction thereof is decreased toward the tip thereof or (2) in a hollow structure in which near the at-hand-side of the member as a mounting part on the robot hand is closed in cross section. The tip side of the member opposed to the near the at-hand-side end part in the longitudinal direction is opened in cross section in which the surface of the member opposed to a work supporting face is opened.</p>
