The pulling-off device pulls sleeves (11) from the cylinders (10) of a printing press The force can be more safely applied, because of a holding rod (5) with a holding head (1) fixed to the sleeve, and a hammer weight moving along the rod between stops (e.g. 9). A vacuum force may hold the holding head against the sleeve.
