The blade has a blade root (7), a platform (9) and a free standing blade profile (13) with a profile tip (15), serially arranged along a blade axis (5). The blade profile has a curved inlet-side surface (23) and a curved pressure side surface (21), opposed to the inlet side surface. The blade profile has platform-near, mid and far profile regions (27, 29, 31) which continuously blend into each other in the direction of the blade axis.
