摘要

An information playback method includes reading out information from an information recording medium storing a stream (VCS) which includes meta data of a moving picture capable cf being played back upon playback of a video content and which is formed of access units as data units capable of being processed independently, and storing initialization information (VCI) which includes buffer size information that designates a size of a buffer used upon playback of the meta data, and playing back the video content, and playing back the meta data with designating the size of the buffer on the basis of the buffer size information included in the initialization information (VCI).
