PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of adjusting contents itself of a document when a composition is edited. SOLUTION: Variable position and candidate character strings to be fitted into each variable position are set in the document by assuming various states in which an original is used by a variable original preparing tool 12 of a word processor 10 by a person to prepare the original. Thus, variable original data including information on the variable position and the candidate character string is generated. In a composition processing by using a composition editing device 20, the document to be outputted is prepared by detecting the information on the variable positions from the variable original data by a variable position detecting part 24, selecting one from among the candidate character strings corresponding to each variable position of the document and fitting it into each variable position. In case of this selection, the proper document to be outputted is selected and outputted according to other condition like size of a composition area, etc. |
