The cage has packets (2) arranged cylindrical against rolling members (6) and secured in a radial direction by retaining elements (5). The rolling members are held in relation to an external bracket or in relation to an interior bracket in a lying close position. The cage is subjected to a calibration procedure in such a manner after rolling members are shifted by applying a force in a radial direction outward or inward. Guiding surface of the rolling member brackets are shifted in a circumferential direction and terminated if the desired position is met. In circumferential direction guidance facing surfaces of the rolling member brackets are shifted by a plastic material and terminated if the desired position is met. The guidance surfaces are wedge-shaped ramps standing out in circumferential direction where the packets are arranged in an axial direction from each other and in circumferential direction facing ramps.
