Crawler chain comprises an elastic intermediate layer (6) arranged between a chain bushing (1) and a kelly bushing (2). Preferred Features: The intermediate layer is arranged on the inner casing surface of the Kelly bushing and/or on the outer casing surface of the chain bushing. The intermediate layer is made from plastic composites with thermoplastic alloys as base with composite fibers and/or solid lubricants. The intermediate layer has a thickness up to 0.5 mm fitting an insert region.
