A switch, comprising a case (2), a first fixed terminal (3) having one end forming a contact part (3a) exposed to the bottom face (2c) of the case (2) and the other end provided on the outside of the case (2), a second fixed terminal (4) having one end forming a contact part (4a) exposed to the side face (2d) of the case (2) and the other end provided on the outside of the case (2), a contact piece (5) installed in the case (2), having one end forming a fixed contact part (5b) always brought into contact with the first fixed terminal (3) and the other end forming a movable contact part (5c) allowed to come into contact with the other second fixed terminal (4), and having an intermediate part formed of a coiled spring part (5a) having an elasticity in coil winding and compressing directions, and an operating body (6) having one end positioned in the case (2) and forming a pressing part (6a) capable of pressing the contact piece (5) in compressing direction and the other end positioned on the outside of the case (2) and forming an action part (6b) pressed from the outside.
