<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sintering agent for dephosphorizing molten iron and to provide a method for dephosphorizing the molten iron by which such problems as excess decarburization and lowering of molten iron temperature are not developed, and particularly, a melting accelerator, such as fluorite, is unnecessary. SOLUTION: After producing slag by adding one or more kinds of converter slag, ladle slag and lime into the molten iron, the sintering agent containing by mass % of 18-38% CaO, 35-60% in terms of the total iron in iron oxide and <=15% Al2O3 is used.</p> |
