A clamp arm 10, formed by extrusion, has one extremity adapted to support a cable, and another provided with an enlarged portion 4, which may include a cut out portion, adapted to be received in the recess of a frame. Preferably, the clamp arm comprises an arm 1 and keeper 2 members, each preferably having a recess of the same cross-sectional shape able to receive at least one liner 5, so that when the members are fastened together they grip a cable. The members 1, 2 may be joined forming hinging means, one member preferably comprising an integral cylindrical portion, and the other a corresponding recess preferably extending around more than half the circumference of the cylindrical portion. Preferably, retaining means is provided preventing movement, other than hinging, of the members. A frame and a modular damper housing are also claimed. The frame is extruded, may be circular, and may be adapted to specifically receive the clamp arms 10, to form a spacer damper assembly. |
