PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which reduces the capacity of a memory for storing LUTs and performs natural quick display in consideration of additional conditions such as temperature. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes an applied gradation value acquisition part which receives succeeding gradation data, preceding gradation data, and measurement data from a temperature sensor 8 and calculates gradation data required for gradation display as target gradation data by referring to a plurality of LUTs stored in an LUT memory 12 to perform interpolation operation. Interpolation operation according with the measurement data is performed in accordance with table interpolation values from the applied gradation value acquisition part to calculate the target gradation data. Thus, target gradation data (interpolated values) of high accuracy is obtained by interpolation operation using local coordinates in consideration of various additional conditions.
