Disclosed is a rotary piston pump comprising at least two rotors (8) with associated drive shafts (26). A bearing tube (28) which protrudes into the associated rotor (8) and through which the associated drive shaft (26) extends is associated with each rotor (8). A first gap (64) is provided between the interior face (24) of each rotor (8) and the exterior face of the bearing tube (28). Said first gap (64) contains liquid coolant during operation and is part of a liquid coolant circuit.
