The device has an illumination box that has as object to obtain uniform illumination through a paper. The paper is analyzed by transmission, and a charge coupled device (CCD) camera catches an image of the paper illuminated by transmission. A computer analyzes the image from the camera and utilizes algorithms based on a mathematical theory of wavelets.
