The invention proposes a hydraulic support element ( 1 ) whose high-pressure chamber ( 10 ) is kept substantially free of air bubbles and oil foam. This is realized through a deflecting sleeve ( 15 a) in combination with two vent bores ( 16 ) situated diametrically opposite each other on the inner peripheral surface ( 17 ) of the pressure piston ( 5 ).
