The subject of the invention is a bed for treatment and rehabilitation which prevents bedsores. It can be implemented as a self-standing bed, as an insert to a sleeping bed or to a hospital bed or as a self-standing hospital treatment bed. Bed according to the invention consists of an airtight heated chamber of air motion (1) which bottom (3) and side walls (2) are lined with thermal insulation (4). The chamber is provided with at least one heating element (15) and with a thermostat. A pallet (6) made of strong fabric permeable to air is attached to the chamber of air motion in a permanent or detachable way. A covering is attached in detachable way to the three outern sides of the chamber of air motion (1) at least ventilation openings (12) are placed in the longer edge of the palet (6) and/or the chamber of air motion (1) and in the shorter foot edge - at least one per each edge. |
