The present invention refers to a device for applying plastic to the subsoil of a golf course, said device being propelled by an agricultural tractor. The process consists in applying a 300 caliber plastic, or a plastic having a caliber higher than a depth ranging from about 20 cm to about 40 cm, in the soil. The aforementioned device has been developed for the golf course-sport industry; however, the invention is also useful in the construction, oil and agricultural industry. The device may be actuated by a tractor with a minimum capacity of 90 horsepower.
