1. New acetate of (1S)-3-(7,7-dimethyl-bicyclo-[4.1.0]hepta-3-ene-3-ylo)propanole with formula 1. 2. Method of producing new acetate of (1S)-3-(7,7-dimethyl-bicyclo-[4.1.0]hepta-3-ene-3-ylo)propanole with formula 1. It is characterised in that (1S)-3(10)-caren-trans-4-ol is subjected to Claisen rearrangement by orthoacetate method. Then, the γ,δ-nonsaturated ester is reduced by means of lithium aluminium hydride to (+)-(1S)-3-(7,7-dimethyl-bicyclo-[4.1.0]hepta-3-ene-3-ylo)propanole. The latter is transformed into acetate of the alcohol in the reaction of acylation with acetyl chloride or acetic acid anhydride in the presence of pyridine. |
