1. The traction dynamometer is designed especially for measuring axial forces in vessel ropes and chains. It consists of a housing with fastening grips, equipped with strain gauges arranged into a bridge circuit, cooperating with a digital measuring system located inside the housing. It is characterised in that its housing consists of two longitudinal elements (1). The shape of the latter is similar to that of a plate in a plate link chain. The longitudinal elements (1) are secured together at one end by means of a bush (2) and kept at a distance from each other by means of considerably stiffer transversal elements (3). As a result, the longitudinal elements together with the closing lids (8) form a hermetic internal chamber (7). Inside the chamber, there are extensometers (5) mounted on the surface of the longitudinal elements (1). They are matched in pairs and positioned along and across the longitudinal direction. The digital measuring system (6), located inside the chamber (7) and cooperating with the extensometers (5), is equipped with a digital memory. |
