A compound body manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a compound body (1) having a metal outer part (3) with a hollow part (2) and a content part (4) formed in the hollow part (2), comprising an outer part forming step for forming the outer part (3) and a content part forming step for forming the content part (4) in the hollow part (2) by using the molten metal of metal die-moldable metal matrix and fillers impregnated with the molten metal. The outer part (3) is formed in a specified outside shape. To reduce the weight and increase the strength of the compound body (1), the content part (4) is formed so as to fill the hollow part (2).
