Discharge from a hopper part 50 is controlled by sliding plate 8, the bottom of the hopper being formed by a frame 2 provided with deflectors 17 which cover rollers 19 on which plate 8 slides. Brushes 22 and 23 are provided to clean the plate 8, the plate being operated either by handle 27 or by means of two fluid cylinders (not indicated) carried within the frame 2. Rollers 19 are mounted on plates 20 so as to be eccentrically adjustable. The hopper part 50 may be connected to the upper part of the hopper at 23 by bolts.</p> |
