Benzothiazepine derivatives

Benzothiazepine derivative compounds of formula (I), pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, solvates of such salts and prodrugs thereof and their use as ileal bile acid transport (IBAT) inhibitors for the treatment of hyperlipidaemia are disclosed, wherein the variable groups are as defined in the specification. Processes for their manufacture and pharmaceutical compositions containing them are also described.
