The bib has a flank of cloth fixed around the neck of an infant. A band (4) connects a lower part (3A) of a back (3) to a lower part (2A) of a front side (2). The back is in two portions, each connected to the front side at the level of the shoulder. The portions are attached together using two fixing units (9) in which one is closer to the neck and the other is far away from the bottom.
