Process for the preparation of dry, solid choline salicylate containing compositions

Pharmaceutical compositions comprise a dry, free-flowing powder prepared by adding MgSo4 or an aqueous solution thereof to an aqueous solution of choline salicylate and evaporating to dryness, preferably under vacuum at below 100 DEG C. The product may be encapsulated or granulated and formed into tablets by conventional methods.
