A revolving magnetic arbor (4) is arranged inside a magnetic coil (3) and is adapted for fitting on a milling machine. Several roller balls (1) are pressed against the surface of a to-be-machined workpiece (2) by an uniform magnetic field generated by the magnetic coil and the magnetic arbor. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) apparatus for machining axial workpieces; and (2) method of deburring and roller-burnishing machine components.
