A power cord cover which has a housing in which a power plug and a power socket can be joined together and placed within the housing. The housing comprises a first part and a second part which can be opened to allow the power plug and the power socket to be placed within the housing. The first part and/or the second part have internal support members to hold the power plug into engagement with the power socket and to prevent the power plug and power socket from being pulled apart. The housing has a streamlined outer shape to reduce snagging, the streamlined outer shape comprising a main central body portion and opposed nose portions that taper from the main central body portion to a reduced end. Each end contains an opening through which a power lead can pass, the opening containing a resilient annular seal that grips the power lead to prevent the power lead from being pulled out of the plug/socket upon pulling of the power lead. The first part and/or second part configured such that when attached together, the housing is substantially watertight.
