The invention relates to a repair patch for pneumatic tyres which comprises a reactive buffer and connection layer (5), for resting on the inner tyre wall. Said patch comprises a narrower intermediate layer (7) with embedded cord inlays extending longitudinally adjacent each other, in particular steel cord strands, comprising another rubber layer (13) with embedded cord threads (14) extending in a longitudinal and adjacent manner and covering the protected intermediate layer, and a top layer (17) pointing into the tyre. To improve the vulcanisation of the patch on the prepared inner wall of the pneumatic tyre and to achieve a longer level of durability at the point of repair, the patch is shaped to be drawn-in in the middle and is more flexible in the central section thereof than in the two end sections. |
