PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality para type wholly aromatic copolyamide ultrafine fiber suppressing scum formed on a guide, etc., in a post-processing step such as yarn twisting or weaving and having excellent adhesiveness as a reinforcing material for a composite using rubber, an epoxy resin, a phenol resin, etc., as a matrix and slight quality unevenness such as fineness unevenness (U%). SOLUTION: The para type wholly aromatic copolyamide ultrafine fiber is obtained by applying fine powder composed of anhydrous aluminum silicate and/or sodium aluminosilicate in an amount of 0.4-15 mg/m<SP>2</SP>to the fiber surface and has 0.1-0.85 dtex single filament fineness and≤1.5% fineness unevenness (U%).
