PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam molded article in which generation of sink marks is more surely decreased and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A pressure receiving part with a pressure receiving leg part extending in the foam layer direction and a pressure receiving end part formed on an extending end of the pressure receiving leg part and arranged separately from the surface of the foam layer, is provided on a part of the peripheral edge part of a pouring hole provided on a substrate of the foam molded article. Decrease in an inner pressure of a foam resin material at least in the direction intersecting the pressure receiving part is suppressed by providing the pressure receiving part in the foam layer, and generation of the sink marks is suppressed.
