PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid occurrence of a creeping of a molding resin layer at an outer periphery part of a joint part of luminous layer or the like with another layer during insert molding. SOLUTION: An outer periphery end part of a transparent electrode layer 11 constituting an EL sheet 1 is positioned outside of an outer peripheral end of a luminous layer 12, outer periphery end faces of the luminous layer 12, a high dielectric layer 13, and a rear-face electrode layer 14 is covered with a protective layer 15 for the whole periphery, so that the outer periphery end face of these joint faces shall not be exposed to the molding resin layer 3 of high temperature and high voltage injected in the insert molding.
