INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE SYSTEM HAVING HYDROGEN GENERATION FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with complicated troublesome maintenance work. SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine system operating with use of both hydrogenated fuel and normal gasoline and having a hydrogen generation function is provided with a hydrogenated fuel tank 32 for having supply of hydrogenated fuel containing organic hydride and a gasoline tank 48 for having supply of normal gasoline. A dehydrogenation reactor 22 and a separator 40 are provided for separating the hydrogenated fuel into hydrogen rich gas and a dehydrogenation product. The hydrogen rich gas flowing out of a hydrogen pipe line 44 is supplied to an intake pipe 12 by a hydrogen supply injector 18. A flow divider 46 is installed in a dehydrogenation product pipe line 42. The dehydrogenation product is let flow into the gasoline tank 48 until a mixing ratio in the gasoline tank 48 comes to an upper limit and is collected in the dehydrogenation product tank 50 only in a situation that the ratio reaches the upper limit.
