PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission efficiency, durability and reduction of noise. SOLUTION: A hydraulic pressing device 45 is mounted between an input-side disc 8a at one side constituting a toroidal type continuously variable transmission 1 and a carrier 41 constituting a planetary gear type transmission 40. As a result, the periodical application of force in the deflected thrust direction to the circumferential direction of each of the planetary gears 43a, 43b and the uneven elastic deformation of the input-side disc 8a at one side by the force, based on, the relative position of power rollers 10, 10 in the circumferential direction, can be prevented.
