PRIMER COMPOSITION FOR GLASS SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer composition for a glass surface used for bonding automotive window glass to a car body and sufficiently retaining primer performances especially even when the open time after primer coating is set at a long period. SOLUTION: The primer composition for the glass surface is obtained by dissolving or dispersing a silane coupling agent, a reaction product of a polyisocyanate and a silane compound, a binder for forming a film and carbon black in an organic solvent. The primer composition is characterized as adding a bismuth trisoctoate in an amount of 0.001-2 wt.% in the total amount of the composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
