PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottom feeder which can suppress accuracy reduction by abrasion of a roll following the use of the rubber roll, occurrence of scratch on the sheet surface, increase in the maintenance cost following the roll abrasion, and increase in manufacturing cost by complication of the device. SOLUTION: In extracting only the lowest paper sheet from a paper stack and supplying it to a subsequent process, the paper stack is held while being tilted in a back gate direction between the back gate and a front guide of which lowest end is formed as a claw for holding the end of the paper stack, only the lowest paper sheet is sucked, removed from the claw of the front guide, and extracted, and the paper sheet is fed to a subsequent printing or die cutting process. Simultaneously, the remaining paper stack is pressed up by a lifting table, the contact of the extracted paper sheet with a next paper sheet is prevented, and the lowest paper sheet is moved to the subsequent process.
