PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional folding container can keep side walls overlapped when the side walls facing each other are laid flat in the direction of a bottom part and causes the upper side wall to be inclined and the folding height of the folding container to be increased when the side walls overlap. SOLUTION: In a folding container, when side walls 2 partially overlapping each other are collapsed in the direction of a bottom part 1, a male hinge member H2 formed on the partially overlapping side walls 2 is movable in a cut-out recessed part h2 of a female hinge member H1 formed in a bank part 1a of the bottom part 1 according to the male hinge member H2. The height of the folding container in a folded state can be reduced compared with a conventional folding container in which a pair of side walls overlap in an inclined state, and the storage efficiency can be enhanced when the folding containers in a folded state are stacked and stored.
