<p>The lid of the fuel inlet is fitted with an electrically moved piston (2) controlled by a small integrated device (4) working with a magnet when the electronic key is used. In a special case the device (4) can turn to be inoperable, for instance when the car has been waxed or parts of the mechanical system are corroded. Because of its position close to the battery (3) the control device (4) can not be accessed by hand. A cable tie (7), preferably in red for better visibility, is attached to the piston (2) and can be easily manipulated in case of a system breakdown.</p> |
