A slide unit (10) for a portable product energizing a cover in an opening or closing direction relative to a portable product body, comprising a case (11), a slider slidable along the case (11), a coiled spring energizing the slider, a cam follower having one end supported on the slider, a guide (30) guiding the other end (24a) of the cam follower and having a heart cam mechanism at the end part thereof, and a connection member (12) connected to the slider and one of the portable product body and the cover. The connection member (12) further comprises holding bodies (13) installed slidably on the case (11) in the state of holding the outer side of the case (11) and locked parts (14) formed integrally with the holding bodies (13) and locked to one of the portable product body and the cover.
