<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cleanly humidified air by removing various substances in the atmospheric air (chemical substances, pollen, and dust, etc.). <P>SOLUTION: An air cleaning unit includes: a first washing chamber water tub part 1; a second washing chamber 2; a circulation pump 3; and a shower part 4. An air intake port 5 is arranged in the middle of the first washing chamber water tub part 1. A copper alloy filter 6 is arranged between the first washing chamber 1 and the second washing chamber 2. The shower part 4 of the second washing chamber 2 sprays water and makes it into a water filter. A toxic substance is collected with the copper alloy filter 6 and caught by the first washing chamber water tub part 1. A silver ion eluting apparatus 7 is arranged between the first washing chamber water tub part 1 and the shower 4 so as to elute silver ion into water. A filter 8 is mounted in order to clean water, so as to catch dust, dirt and bacteria, etc. Then the water of the first washing chamber water tub part 1 is cleaned.
