<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode assembly for a secondary battery which improves an output performance by increasing current collection efficiency and can substantially uniformly derive a current generated at each part of a group of electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode assembly comprises a group of electrodes including a positive electrode and a negative electrode each in which a plain portion to which active material is not applied is formed along a fringe, and a separator arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; a current collection plate for a positive electrode which has a part arranged in a region out of the group of electrodes and is electrically connected to the plain portion of the positive electrode while covering a tip of the plain portion of the positive electrode; and a current collection plate for a negative electrode which has a part arranged in a region out of the group of electrodes while covering a tip of the plain portion of the negative electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
